And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT
THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT TEXT: Exodus 20:13 'You shall not murder. In this commandment is a sin forbidden, which is murder. Our main duty is to preserve our own life, and the life of others. 1) We must not injure another in his name. No physician can heal the wounds caused by the tongue. 2) We must not injure another in his body. Life is precious. Gen. 9:6 'Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man. Ways in which murder is committed 1. With the hands. 2 Samuel 20:10 Amasa was not on his guard against the dagger in Joab's hand, and Joab plunged it into his belly, and his intestines spilled out on the ground. Without being stabbed again, Amasa died. Then Joab and his brother Abishai pursued Sheba son of Bicri. 2. With the mind. 1 John 3:15 Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him. 3. With the tongue. Speaking bad of another person. John 18:30 'If he were not a criminal,' they replied, 'we would not have handed him over to you.' 4. With the pen. 2 Samuel 11:15 In it he wrote, 'Put Uriah in the front line where the fighting is fiercest. Then withdraw from him so he will be struck down and die.' 5. By plotting another's death. 1 Kings 21:9 In those letters she wrote: 'Proclaim a day of fasting and seat Naboth in a prominent place among the people, 10 But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them testify that he has cursed both God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death.' 6. By putting poison into cups. 7. By witchcraft and sorcery. Deuteronomy 18:10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 8. By not hindering the death of another when we are have power. Pilate knew Jesus was innocent. 9. By unmercifulnes. By taking away that which is necessary for the support of life. Mostly done by doctors and nurses, and even ordinary people. Making others starve to death by denying them food and water. Deut. 24:6 Do not take a pair of millstones-not even the upper one-as security for a debt, because that would be taking a man's livelihood as security.
